Welcome to ScoopDoop! By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before using our website or scheduling any services.

Acceptance of Terms

By using our website or services, you agree to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

Services Offered

We provide professional pet waste removal services for residential properties. Our services include locating, collecting, and disposing of dog waste in designated areas of your property. Specific service frequency and details are outlined in your Service Agreement or invoice. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue services at any time without prior notice. Specific details of services, including pricing and scheduling, are outlined on our website or in your service agreement.

Satisfaction Guarantee

Your satisfaction is important to us. If you are not satisfied with the Service, please notify us within 24 hours, and we will address the issue at no additional cost.

Payment Terms

Billing is determined by several factors including the number of pets, yard size, and visit frequency.

  • Prepayment Requirement: Services for each scoop must be prepaid.
  • Invoicing: Invoices are issued the day before each cleaning.
  • Payment Due: Payments are due on the first day of each service month (e.g., May 1 for May services).
  • Upon acceptance of estimate and proposal, service shall continue indefinitely and on a recurring basis until cancelled in accordance with these terms and conditions.
  • Late Payment Policy: Services will be suspended if payments are not received by the fifth of the month, service will be paused with a resumption fee applied due to increased workload on the next service date.
  • Monthly Rate Calculation: Your monthly rate is your weekly rate multiplied by 50, then divided by 12 months. With this model, you receive two weeks of service free annually.
  • Pro-rated Invoices For New Clients: New clients will receive a pro-rated invoice for their first month based on the remaining days in the month.
  • Preferred Payment Methods: E-transfers and credit card payments are accepted, with automatic charges applied on the first day of each month for credit card users.
  • Fees and Promotions are subject to change at any time. In this rare circumstance, you will be notified at least two (2) weeks prior to any changes.
  • We reserve the right to modify or discontinue services at any time without prior notice. Specific details of services, including pricing and scheduling, are outlined on our website or in your service agreement.
Credit Card Policy

Credit card details are securely stored within our CRM system (Stripe) and are inaccessible to Scoop Doop. By enrolling in our services, you consent to having your credit card charged monthly.

Customer Responsibilities/Yard Access

To ensure effective service, customers agree to:

  • Provide safe and unrestricted access to the property during the scheduled service time. Client is responsible for ensuring the Scoop Doop staff can access the yard.

  • Obstructions or locked gates will incur half of the cleaning fee due to the increased workload on the next visit and staff pay. Access through homes is not permitted; a garage or gate must be available.

  • To ensure safety, unfriendly pets should be confined away from the service area during visits to prevent any incidents. If you have your pet listed as unfriendly, we can not service the home if this pet is outside

Text Messages

US and Canadian federal regulations require that organizations obtain informed consent from recipients before sending text (SMS) messages. 

With your consent, The Poop Valet would like to send text (SMS) messages to the mobile number you have provided to us. By providing your informed consent where indicated, you acknowledge that you agree to participate in our text (SMS) messaging service. You may withdraw from text messages at any time by replying with STOP.

Our use of text (SMS) messaging service is designed to provide you with helpful information, reminders, and notifications via text messages sent to your mobile phone. We may use text (SMS) messages to communicate with you for a variety of purposes, including:

– announcements and reminders of upcoming events

– reminders about upcoming visits to provide service as requested

– communication regarding your request for service

 

Marketing Messages

General

When you opt-in to the service, we will send you a message to confirm your signup. By opting into messages, you agree to receive recurring automated marketing and informational text messages from Scoop Doop. Automated messages may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system to the mobile telephone number you provided when signing up or any other number that you designate. Message frequency varies, and additional mobile messages may be sent periodically based on your interaction with Scoop Doop. Scoop Doop reserves the right to alter the frequency of messages sent at any time to increase or decrease the total number of sent messages. Scoop Doop also reserves the right to change the short code or phone number or alphanumeric sender where messages are sent

Your usual message and data rates may apply. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your mobile provider. Your mobile provider is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.Your consent to receive marketing messages is not a condition of purchase.

Carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Cancellation

Messages will provide instructions to unsubscribe either by texting STOP or through an included link. After you unsubscribe, we will send you a message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed and no more messages will be sent. If you would like to receive messages from Scoop Doop again, just sign up as you did the first time and Scoop Doop will start sending messages to you again.

Transfer of Number

You agree that before changing your mobile number or transferring your mobile number to another individual, you will either reply “STOP” from the original number or notify us of your old number at [email protected]. The duty to inform us based on the above events is a condition of using this service to receive messages.

Messaging Terms Changes

We reserve the right to change or terminate our messaging program at any time. We also reserve the right to update these Messaging Terms at any time. Such changes will be effective immediately upon posting. If you do not agree to a change to these Messaging Terms, you should cancel your enrolment with our messaging program. Your continued enrollment following such changes shall constitute your acceptance of such changes.

Snow and Inclement Weather Policy

In the event of hazardous weather conditions that render yard cleaning unsafe or impossible, we will need to reschedule your appointment. Should snow accumulation exceed 3 centimeters within 8 hours prior to your scheduled service, rescheduling may be necessary. We will plan to come to the home as soon as it is safe to do so.

Yard Access

Clients are responsible for ensuring the Scoop Doop staff can access the yard. Pet Safety

To ensure safety, unfriendly pets should be confined away from the service area during visits to prevent any incidents. If you have your pet listed as unfriendly, we can not service the home if this pet is outside.

Waste Removal Policy

We remove solid waste only. Diarrhea or waste indicating health concerns will not be handled, and clients will be notified to seek veterinary care if necessary.

Service Area Conditions

Visibility is key to effective cleaning. Areas obscured by overgrowth or debris may not be fully serviced, and clients will be notified of such conditions. While we take care to provide accurate and high-quality service, we do not guarantee complete waste removal in areas with excessive buildup or hazardous conditions.

Exclusions

Areas beneath trampolines, within dense underbrush, or behind obstacles posing safety risks are excluded from service.

Rock and Gravel Areas

Waste removal from rock or gravel surfaces is not included.

Service Suspension

A 24-hour notice is required to pause service for credit towards the next month. If you do not pause within 24 hours of your scheduled clean up, you will be charged.

Liability

Scoop Doop is not liable for property damage or loss related to our services. We take thorough precautions to secure property after each visit. You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from the condition of your property or pets. We are not liable for injury or harm caused by pets during or after our service.

Service Termination

Customer may cancel the services at any time, for any reason, without penalty or a cancellation fee as long as there is a 48 hour notice before the next service date. Refunds for partial months are not issued.

We reserve the right to terminate service for:

  • Non-payment.
  • Unsafe or hazardous conditions.
  • Violation of this Agreement.

 

Agreement to Terms

Initiating service constitutes agreement to these terms, including property access and billing practices.

Holiday Schedule

Services may be adjusted around holidays. We are closed from Christmas Day to New Year’s Day, incurring the same fee for the subsequent service.

Privacy Policy:  

Your personal information is collected and used in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Your information remains confidential and will not be sold or shared externally, unless required by law.

Revisions to Terms

We reserve the right to amend these terms at any time. Please review periodically for any updates. Changes will be posted on our website, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pennsylvania. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services will be resolved in the courts of Pennsylvania.
